“Naked eye” planetary astronomy?
We tend to associate “planetary astronomy” with high-magnification views through telescopes that will show us surface features on these celestial objects.
However, there are many rewards to be had by simply watching the planets as they move, much as our ancestors did hundreds and thousands of years ago.
